GTA 6 Pre-Orders Open in Taiwan — NT$2,320 Standard, NT$2,900 Ultimate

Taiwan can pre-order now

On September 17, 2026, the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store in Taiwan put GTA 6 up for pre-order. Until then, according to 4Gamers’ report that day, players in Taiwan could only add the game to a wishlist. Most regions opened pre-orders on June 25, so Taiwan waited almost three months.

Both stores sell digital copies only. Both show Taiwan’s Restricted (18+) rating, citing sex, violence and drugs.

What a pre-order includes

Both stores list the same bonuses for both editions:

• Vintage Vice City Pack, for purchases made before 23:59:59 on November 19, 2026. See price and editions for what is in it.
• One month of GTA+, with the same purchase deadline. The PlayStation listing says the membership renews monthly at the regular price once the free month ends, so cancel if you do not want it.
  • PlayStation: redeem by March 31, 2027. One redemption per account.
  • Xbox: redeem within 180 days of pre-ordering, under Offers & Credits in the store. One redemption per platform account.

The Ultimate Edition adds the Ultimate Edition Upgrade on top. The standalone Ultimate Edition Upgrade add-on on the Taiwan PlayStation Store currently shows as unavailable.

Release and preload times

• Release time: the time on the Taiwan PlayStation listing works out to midnight on November 19, Taiwan time. The Xbox listing does not show a time.
• Preload: the PlayStation edition details offer a 7-day pre-load, which from the release date means November 12.

Preloading downloads the game early; it does not let you play early. See preload and release time for launch week.

Why Taiwan came later

Rockstar Support’s pre-order details, last updated June 26, list the countries where the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Rockstar Store took pre-orders. Taiwan is on none of the three lists. The article says GTA VI will be made available in more countries “as allowed by platform policies, regional regulations, and age ratings.” The article does not mention Taiwan by name.

Before you buy

• Language: the Taiwan PlayStation listing names the product the “Chinese/English/Korean version”, and the Xbox listing shows 13 supported languages. A product name does not say which languages are voiced; see GTA 6 languages.
• Other labels: the PlayStation listing also shows in-game purchases, offline play, 1 player, Remote Play support and PS5 Pro Enhanced. Rockstar has not said what the in-game purchases are.
