A headphone shop is one example
GTA 6’s robbery targets extend beyond the familiar convenience-store example, according to Insider Gaming’s October 7 report. Quoting Rob Nelson’s interview with IGN, the outlet highlights his description of a shop selling headphones: “You can rob pretty much anything.”
The report also quotes Nelson describing robberies as an important way to earn money, either alone or with Jason and Lucia together. Two protagonists taking part does not establish online co-op.
Broad target choice still has limits
Another quoted example describes a plan to find a shop, bank or payday lender interrupted by Jason noticing a police impound lot along the way. It illustrates how an opportunity encountered during travel can influence a target choice.
That still leaves practical questions open. The quoted passages do not provide a complete target list, payouts, repeat-robbery rules or every unlock condition. “Pretty much” should not become a promise that every building is accessible or that every bank can be robbed immediately without preparation.
Our gameplay mechanics guide connects the existing reporting on money, police and the two protagonists, with attribution for each preview claim.
The 43-day countdown needs a date
Under the official schedule checked for this article, October 7, 2026 was 43 calendar days before release. On October 9, that difference is 41 days. Those are calendar calculations, not a new announcement or a universal store unlock time.
The GTA 6 countdown follows the current target date; the preload and unlock guide covers the separate question of when play begins in each region.
