How to judge a new claim
- Check where it comes from. A GTA 6 detail is confirmed when it appears on Rockstar’s website or Newswire, in a Take-Two announcement, or on an official PlayStation or Xbox store page or blog. A media report tells you someone said it, not that Rockstar did.
- Check what the source actually says. A price or time on one store page applies to that store and region.
- Check whether it is arithmetic. PC release years and file sizes worked out from earlier games are estimates, however carefully calculated.
- Check whether there is a source at all. “Insiders say”, with no named outlet or person, is the weakest kind of claim.
