GTA 6 An Extended Look — Release Date and Where to Watch

What was released

On August 27, 2026, Rockstar released An Extended Look, the first long-form showing of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar says it was “captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.” It arrived 84 days before the November 19 launch.

The official video is available on Rockstar’s website and on YouTube. The YouTube upload is age-restricted, so it has to be watched on YouTube itself and may ask you to sign in; it will not play when embedded on other sites.

What the footage does and does not confirm

The showing gives the longest look yet at Leonida, but footage is not a feature list. A scene in a video shows what a moment looks like; it does not on its own confirm a mission, a mechanic or a system. Rockstar has not published a breakdown of what the showing contains.
