GTA 6 Price and Editions — $79.99 and $99.99 Ultimate

GTA 6 price: $79.99 Standard, $99.99 Ultimate in the US. Both editions carry the same pre-order bonuses, so the $20 buys only the 16 Ultimate-exclusive items.

The $20 buys the 16 Ultimate items and nothing else. The pre-order bonuses are identical, so there is no bonus you can only reach by upgrading.

The boxed Standard Edition is a download code in a box, not a disc. It downloads in full like any digital copy; what you get on the shelf is packaging.

    What Ultimate adds

Rockstar describes the set as “an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story” and gives each item a sentence or two on the edition page, without stats. Rockstar Support adds that new items are “uncovered behind each chapter”, so they arrive as the story goes on rather than all at the start. The list below groups them by type; check the edition page for each item’s full description.

    Vehicles (6)

    • ‘95 Grotti Cheetah
    • ‘67 Vapid Dominator Buggy (Rockstar Support lists it with a garage)
    • Ganado Retro Build
    • Shitzu Squalo
    • Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles (the official screenshots include a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest kayak)
    • Classic Car Collection

    Weapons (2)

    • Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers
    • Personalized Weapon Variants

    Clothing and style (3)

    • Vice City Style
    • Stock 305 Clothing Store
    • Goodtime Gear

    Premises (5)

    • Rideout Customs Mod Shop
    • One-Eyed Willie’s Mod Shop
    • Sara’s Unisex Salon
    • Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor
    • PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store (listed as PTT Youngin$ Compound on Rockstar Support)

Mod shops, a salon and a tattoo parlor appear on the list, but Rockstar has not said whether you own and run them or simply get access to them.

    Pre-order bonuses

Both editions come with the same two:

    • Vintage Vice City Pack — not limited to pre-orders. Every purchase made before November 20 includes it. It includes a two-tone ‘55 Vapid Stanier sedan, a garage by Ocean Beach, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern. More in what is in the Vintage Vice City Pack.
    • One free month of GTA+ — included with digital copies of either edition bought before November 20. GTA+ is a GTA Online membership: the benefits the edition page lists are a monthly GTA$500,000 deposit for your GTA Online character, Shark Card bonuses and free or discounted GTA Online vehicles, plus a library of classic Rockstar games. It does not say GTA+ adds anything to GTA VI. The membership renews at the regular price when the free month ends, so cancel before then if you do not want it.

Digital pre-orders can preload from November 12, and boxed codes go on sale that day so physical buyers can preload too. Downloading early is not playing early — see preload and release time.

How much does GTA 6 cost?

In the US, Standard Edition costs $79.99 and Ultimate Edition $99.99. The formats, 16 Ultimate items and shared pre-order bonuses are compared above; you do not need Ultimate to receive the pre-order bonuses.

Outside the US, use your account region’s store price rather than converting dollars:

    StoreStandard EditionUltimate Edition
    PlayStation Store, Hong KongHK$568HK$708
PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, TaiwanNT$2,320NT$2,900

More regional listings are in GTA 6 price by country. For purchasing and bonus conditions, see the pre-order guide.

    Not announced

    • Install size. Never published.
    • Stats and exact unlock conditions for the 16 items. There are short descriptions and the chapter-by-chapter note, but no numbers and no item-by-item unlock rules.
    • The price of the Ultimate Edition Upgrade bought on its own.

    Which to buy

If you want the game, Standard is the whole game plus every pre-order bonus.

Ultimate is worth $20 more only if something on that list of sixteen appeals to you — and Rockstar has published short descriptions but no gameplay footage or stats, so you would be paying for items you cannot yet fully evaluate. Waiting is a real option: Rockstar Support says Standard owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately at any time, though its price has not been announced. See can you upgrade to the Ultimate Edition.

Three things to confirm before paying: your account region, whether you want digital or a boxed code, and the GTA+ renewal terms.

For the announcement itself, read the pre-order report. For language support, see GTA 6 languages.
