    Two controllers, one launch date

PlayStation announced the pair on September 3, 2026:

    Black Limited EditionWhite Limited Edition
Official nameDualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited EditionDualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition
Design brief“captures the energy of Vice City’s iconic nightlife”“embodies Vice City at daybreak, from its white sands and pastel skies to all its laid-back glamour”

Both share the same physical treatment: a shimmering, colour-shifting finish and custom palm tree details moulded directly into the controller.

    Price, date and stock

    • Recommended retail price: $84.99 USD / ¥12,480 (including tax) / €84.99 / £74.99.
    • Launch: November 19, 2026 — the same day as the game.
    • Pre-orders: opened September 10 at 10:00am local time, in the US at 7:00am PT / 10:00am ET, through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.
    • Stock: Sony says both will be available “in limited quantities globally”. The PlayStation Direct listing limits the black edition to one per order.

    What it works with

The PlayStation Direct listing states the controller is compatible with PlayStation 5, PC, Mac and mobile devices. It is a standard DualSense in every functional respect — the limited edition is a finish, not different hardware.

PlayStation’s announcement describes haptic feedback and adaptive triggers responding to the action in Grand Theft Auto VI. That is a description of DualSense features, not a list of confirmed in-game mechanics.
