Trailer 1

The reveal. Trailer 1 confirmed that GTA 6 returns to Vice City and that it has two leads. It opens with Lucia Caminos inside a Leonida correctional facility, which fits her official bio.

Trailer 2

Trailer 2 came with far more written material than the first. Alongside it, Rockstar launched Only in Leonida: official profiles for eight characters, including Jason Duval, and introductions and screenshots for the six regions of the State of Leonida.

An Extended Look

Announced on August 6, 2026 and released on August 27, An Extended Look is the longest official look at the game. It premiered on Netflix at 3pm ET and was posted to YouTube and Rockstar’s website at 9pm ET. See the release report for more.

Launch Trailer

Released on October 15, 2026, about a month before launch. Rockstar’s Newswire post sums up the story it sets up: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them, and when an easy score goes wrong they end up in a criminal conspiracy that stretches across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other to make it out alive.

The trailer debuts “Flower in a Hurricane”, a single by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar names Justice as the composers of the game’s original score. More in our Launch Trailer report.

Shorter official clips

Rockstar’s media library also has nine short clips that are not trailers:

• The cover art animation, released on June 18, 2026 with the post announcing the pre-order date. The still version is part of the official artwork set; see GTA 6 wallpapers and cover art.
• One clip for each of the eight characters, from Jason and Lucia to Brian Heder.

Is there a GTA 6 Trailer 3?

Not under that name. As of October 2026, Rockstar has released four official videos: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, An Extended Look and the Launch Trailer. None of them is called “Trailer 3”. Videos titled “GTA 6 Trailer 3” on YouTube and elsewhere are not official Rockstar releases.

Where to watch

• Rockstar’s website carries every official video on its media page.
• Launch Trailer: it plays in Rockstar’s own player on the official Launch Trailer page. When we checked on October 16, the page did not link a YouTube upload.
• YouTube: Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 embed and play normally. An Extended Look is age-restricted there — it can only be watched on YouTube itself, may ask you to sign in, and will not play when embedded on other sites.
• Mainland China: Rockstar’s official Bilibili account has uploaded Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and An Extended Look. We have not checked whether the Launch Trailer is there yet.

Where to go next

• Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos: the two protagonists
• State of Leonida: the six regions
