Where to get official GTA 6 wallpapers

Every official GTA 6 wallpaper comes from one place: the media section of Rockstar’s GTA VI site, under Artwork & Wallpapers. Pick an image and a download panel lists the sizes available for it, between three and seven per image. The page also offers the whole set as a single archive.

This site does not host the originals or offer them for download. The links on this page go to Rockstar.

What is in the artwork set

As of September 17, 2026, the set has 23 images:

The official cover art was revealed on June 18, 2026, in the Newswire post that announced the pre-order date, and went into the set the same day. The album cover art arrived with the September 17, 2026 announcement of the official soundtrack album.

Screenshots and videos

The same media library has:

• 99 screenshots of Jason, Lucia, the six supporting characters and the six regions.
• 51 Ultimate Edition screenshots, one or more for each of the 16 items.
• 12 Vintage Vice City Pack screenshots, covered in the Vintage Vice City Pack guide.
• 3 videos: Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and An Extended Look, plus 9 clips: the cover art animation and one clip for each of the eight characters.

Using the images

Rockstar’s media page invites visitors to “download and share trailers, imagery, and more.” For a phone or desktop background, the official set gives you the original files at full size, and several images come in both a plain and a logo version.

Wallpaper collections on other sites often mix in fan art or AI-made images. If an image is not in Rockstar’s set, it is not official.
