GTA 6 Launch Trailer: Justice Composes the Score, New Single Out

What Rockstar announced

On October 15, 2026, Rockstar released the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer and confirmed who is writing the game’s music. The Newswire post calls the French electronic duo Justice the “composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI”.

The trailer carries new music from Justice: Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar describes it as a standalone single.

You can watch it on the official Launch Trailer page. The game itself still arrives on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Flower in a Hurricane is on The Album

The single is also part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack Rockstar announced on September 17. That album has 34 original tracks and comes out on November 19, the same day as the game. It can be pre-saved on the major streaming services, and vinyl and CD editions can be pre-ordered at gtavi-thealbum.com. Our album announcement report lists the first six singles and the physical editions.

A separate score album is coming

The post ends by asking fans to stay tuned for more on the music of GTA VI, “including the official score album”. That points to a second album for the game’s score, separate from The Album. Rockstar has not given it a title, release date or track list.

Back in September, Rockstar said details about the game’s dynamic score would follow. The October 15 post names the composers but still does not explain how the score works during play.

What is still unannounced

• How the score plays in the game. The post does not say whether the music changes with missions, chases or other gameplay.
• Where Flower in a Hurricane appears in the game. Rockstar has not said whether it plays on the radio, in a mission or only in the trailer.
• The score album details. No title, date or track count yet.
• The rest of The Album. Most of the 34 tracks are still unnamed.

The six in-game radio stations are a separate announcement, covered in GTA 6 radio stations and podcasts. For every official video so far, see GTA 6 trailers, and for the songs used in earlier trailers, see GTA 6 trailer songs.
