The official GTA VI site lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release date has not been announced. Check the platform guide before choosing a copy for someone else’s console.

Rockstar’s edition support page describes Standard and Ultimate editions. Both include the game; Ultimate adds story-related items that unlock as you progress through chapters. That does not provide a tested shortcut through the opening hours. Compare the extras in the edition and price guide.

Get to know the story without a walkthrough

Rockstar’s premise follows Jason and Lucia after a job goes wrong and draws them into a conspiracy across Leonida. The official overview gives you that starting point without revealing a playable mission order.

The map overview introduces the announced regions. The radio guide lists six previewed stations and the confirmed ways to listen. These are useful introductions before you pick up a controller.

Which beginner tips still need the game?

Rockstar has not provided the opening mission sequence, a full settings menu or a verified early spending route in the sources reviewed here.
